This painting for me, represents the feeling of gender dysphoria, and how you can turn that into euphoria by actively changing your mindset. The melting point of my shell means the exact moment I realized that If im supposed to wear a costume to not only survive, but thrive in this world, then I get to change that costume however and whenever I want. I am the darkness within me the same way I’m the light within me, and I can exist between, under, over, outside and within both and all aspects. There are no rules. You are free.
